The MC HR Awards were created in the year 2000, with the intention of bringing together the Spanish business world and rewarding Human Resources Departments for the great job that they do and which is increasingly taking on importance in companies. With these Awards, Grupo MC wishes to add value to a sector that merits all importance, since it is in charge of managing people, the base of all organisations.
Every year some 600 people from the HR sector attend the MC Awards event. It is an annual meeting at which it is a question of having a good time and talking to colleagues from the profession without the usual day-to-day tensions. 
The awards consist of 5 prizes, corresponding to 5 categories:

- Best General Manager for involvement in HR.
- Best HR Manager for good practices.
- Best HR development for increasing power human capital in business .
- Best young professional by his potential and effectiveness.
- Best manager who applies HR well in his department.
